    In this unique members-only four-day camp, participants will create a customized Glasstronomy Studios camp tribute bench featuring several of our favourite fused glass techniques with easy to achieve daily goals. The finished piece is designed as both a functional bench and a commemorative artwork celebrating our time creating together. Camp dates Tuesday, July 14 to Friday, July 17, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm daily Cost $1250 + HST per person | Deposit: $500 + HST / Balance: $750 + HST THIS CAMP IS FULL The fee includes: All materials Lunches (kindly advise us of any food allergens/intolerances) Special tool usage All kiln firings Bench customization Balance deadline: Monday, July 6, 2026. Project concept The bench will feature: Three fused glass landscape blocks with a monogrammed pot melt Eight rectangular fused glass blocks The imagery will evoke the feeling of looking through a fence into a flower-filled pasture, with a dramatic landscape stretching into the distance.     This fun and sassy course is sure to get your creative juices flowing! In this two-evening course, participants will begin by making all the "raw" material they can out of 96 COE glass and accessories using techniques like sgraffito, stenciling, and paint washes, as well as recreating old favourites like confetti, chopsticks, and mardi gras glass. On the second evening, you will create as many projects as you can from your fired stash of pings, stringers, and decorated sheet glass. Whether clocks, coasters, dishes, jewellery, or vases, you are only limited by your imagination. As shape and size will vary, the final firings are à la carte. Project 96 COE glass and accessories, and material-making kiln firings included. Finished project firings, optional metals and hardware are not included. Beginners are welcome! You'll also explore key structural considerations, including curved forms, weight distribution, and thermal sealing techniques. Throughout the course, you'll apply these advanced skills to create a beautiful 16-inch × 10-inch arched stained glass panel to take home. All metals and some workshop glass included.
