Welcome to Glasstronomy Studios’ adult art glass workshop program. This calendar outlines the beginner course offered in November 2023 for people just getting started in glass or wanting to refresh their skills.

The remainder of the Fall calendar will be published mid-October 2023 and offers seasonal holiday-themed general, intermediate, and advanced learning opportunities.

Fall is the perfect time to engage in art glass exploration. Our project-based learning program teaches best practices and techniques that will give you a taste of the possibilities. Explore the medium in a fun and friendly environment while creating something uniquely yours. Nurture your glass skills and let your creativity flourish!

How to register

To register, we currently accept payment in person (cash, Debit, MasterCard and Visa), by email (e-transfer), or by phone (MasterCard and Visa). Please note that HST will be added to the listed fee at time of payment.

Cancellation policy: A Studio credit will be issued for cancellations up to 48 hours before start date. We regret that Studio credits will not be issued under the 48-hour threshold.

Studio credits can be applied to a future purchase of a workshop or course.

  • Course | B209 | Beginner/Intermediate stained glass: Traditional lead came technique (November 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2023)

    Welcome to traditional stained glass! Learn how to create a stained glass panel in the traditional lead came technique. Whether you are an absolute beginner or adding to your knowledge of copper foil construction, this four-week course will cover how to safely break and shape sheet glass, and lead and glaze an 8-inch by 10-inch stained glass panel.

    All materials and tool use included.

    When: Thursdays, November 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2023, from 7 to 10 pm
    Fee: $295 + HST (includes all materials and tool use)
