Dive deeper into both copper foil and lead came techniques, and expand your creative repertoire by working on more complex projects that showcase your artistic vision.

  • COURSE | A444 | Art glass monograph: A study in stained and fused glass (January 10, 17, and 24, 2026)

    Begin the new year with curiosity and creativity. Join Melanie for this three-day course exploring a single subject matter in stained and fused glass. From design concept to execution, participants will create eight, 4 x 6-inch panels featuring classic glass techniques, including copper foil, lead came, copper overlay, solder sculpture, glass painting, fusing, impasto, and more. Each composition will be a unique personal expression of harmonious form and craftsmanship. Upon completion, the individual pieces will be assembled into a refined multi-panel frame, ready to display, cherish, or gift to someone special. All project materials and firings included. When: Saturdays, January 10, 17, and 24, 2026, from 10 am to 4 pm Fee: $425 + HST (includes all project materials and firings)
